Great game. Almost as good as zombie castaway

The complaints listed in the other reviews are sadly true. In the current quest Ive lost over 40 gems that took me over a month to accumulate. Bad form. We used to get 3/day.

The only reason I still play the game the music in the background is relaxing. But the game is frustrating.....not enough energy builds up for all the stuff u have to do. Quests-well those are geared to use up ur gems, because u are not allowed enough time to complete without using gems. Bombarded with beast to kill all the time until u are required to kill beast then u cant find any without using gems once again to buy traps to get them to show up. Max level is 50! Max energy 40! Have made numerous complaints to developers and get no where. Once gems are exhausted will wander away from this game, never to return!

I enjoy the game but am extremely frustrated with the use of the gems to speed up buildings and things. I would like there to be some kind of confirmation that you want to actually use the gems instead of accidentally tapping at the wrong time. I wasted 22 gems because I tapped near a building and it sensed it was on the building. This has been on many different occasions and almost makes me want to quit be game because it takes so long to acquire more gems which you need to purchase items that are required for certain tasks.

This game is interesting, lots to do to keep having fun, I am playing this game without cash,, that adds a new dimension. The biggest problem is no gems. Many objects can only be purchased with gems. I would appreciate another path to gems. I play every day and enjoy. :-) I am on a fixed income and cant use any cash for games. I miss out on a lot of rewards because I cant invest. I was working really hard to earn the witch, I really wanted her. That one time I invested $20.00 for gems.. it went so fast. I was still too short of gems to reach my goal, so no witch. I do the best I can and know I just wont be able to get the prizes. Wish there were a way to earn more gems.....

I like the game, but the energy is kind of annoying to have to play by also. It takes time already for things to make in the shops so why add that one has to wait 30 mins to get energy? It could use a little improvement!

Beware.... there is no confirmation button to use gems! If you accidentally touch a button to use gems, they will be gone! Its crazy that I went from 45 gems to 2 in a matter of days, without purposefully using them.

I love this app. I play multiple times daily. My 3 complaints: Latest version needs a bug fix, when spending gems there needs to be a confirmation as it is too easy to accidentally spend a gem, and the items in the store cost an extremely high amount of gems. I love this game & will keep playing.

Too many unreasonable requirements. Says to tap on plants and only drops 1 for every 10 taps. Played for years and got stuck at the top level for over a year. Gave up over frustration.

First off I really enjoy this game. But Im not rich and I cant afford to pay for the gems. Some of the challenges are so hard that I dont finish. I would like it more for i didnt have to collect so many of one thing just to get anywhere. I mean come on 50 living woods? Trees only give u one if your lucky. Its a game for US lil peeps, but to the makers its all money. I will still play just wont get all the treats or buildings or characters or pets etc.....

Great fun that gives a good amount of freedom in the way you want to play the game.

Castle story is a game in which you can express your creativity. I really like this game I play every day. It is addicting. I do in app purchases (something I said I would never do, lol). The problems are easy and inexpensive fixes. However S8 does not value their customers, buyers and none buyers alike! 1. Add levels and updates on a quarterly basis. I have plenty of ideas for new goals. The numerical levels are a NOW FIX. The is a IT insert of code! Would be happy to submit ideas for updates, with automatic level increases. Just make that code. Boom done! I will wait my monetary payment! I guess that will come as your updates to popular games, increases numerical levels, and fair play on bonuses supposedly issued upon completion of requested action. Do not CHEAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. This is generally a golden rule of any business that wants to make money. Your choice, honest or dishonest? Growth and advancement of kingdoms is the GOAL of Castle Story. Everyone wants the best kingdom possible, it is a source of creative pride! UPDATES ARE NEEDED FOR CS AND POOL SHARK ASAP. Get it done. Pretend you care about your gamers (buying and non buying alike!). What are your designers doing? Have not noticed a flood of new games from your company. Not developing new games and not updating existing games. What exactly is your company doing. I need such a gig! No, I require more stable employment. I believe in doing a good job. For doing that, I get paid a fair salary. It is a fair process. Many may not like the job or pay, myself included, but the process works! 2. Stopping cheating your customers of gems for viewing ads. This is beyond petty. You get the 1st gem. If you view again you are supposed to receive another one. You DO NOT. Come onnnnnnn!!!!!!! 3. Stop adding silly side stories to Castle Story to avoid updates. Your customers are capable of higher reasoning. Most creative people tend to be intelligent as well. Just an observation gained from working with diverse people over my working career. This type of game is attractive to many diverse and creative people. Appreciate us instead of taking us for granted. No level beyond 50 in 1 or 2 years. This is totally unacceptable. I have invested money in playing this game. But I am really am going to stop playing, if these issues are not resolved by March 1, 2017. Thereby losing my investment and plan to continue playing this game indefinitely. I do not want to work so hard to keep my I interest up in playing. When you have no interest in pleasing your players with timely updates, numerical levels, and fair play on YOUR PART. I am so tried of waiting for updates to Castle Story and PoolShark I can actually scream. GET IT DONE! You are risking your die hard in app buying customers! Your decision. In app purchases have to be used to progress! Stop cheating players on free gems, turns, etc. if you view ads. This is petty and has been going on to long. You must stop this process immediately. If you promise 2, 3, whatever gems for viewing ads, give the gems, free turn, whatever to your customers. A little customer service, fairness, and timely additions to this game, and you would double the number of people who play! I am truly at a loss as to why you will not make the minimum effort to keep your customers happy and spending money. I naturally was of the opinion that, making money by keeping your product fresh and updated, providing excellent customer service, and not cheating your customers out of something as a minuscule as a gem, for ad review, would be your goal. Your lack of attention to these minor issues continues to baffle me. Again, CS fanatics are going to spend money, why dont you want their business?!?!?!?!? My patience is beyond, running thin, it is gone. Be kind to your customers. Stop cheating customers out of promised bonuses. UPDATE ALL OF YOUR GAMES. ENOUGH already! Second comment review. This is a fun game to play! Limited energy makes it so I do have to get up and leave once Ive used it all up and dont return until it builds up again. So it doesnt get in the way of real life! I like most of the story lines- fun to read and then follow the adventure. My two grumbles for the missing star- 1) gems really should have a confirmation button b4 being spent. Several times the game will glitch(might just be my device) and gems are accidentally spent, never to be seen again. 2) the timed events are ridiculously hard to achieve. When I first began playing, the events were doable. I only finished the last one with one hour to spare. And only finished bcuz I used gems.

Need more space have to but so much in storage. Would like to keep EVERYTHING out that we work so hard to get!!!!!

Not a big fan of the stupid pop ups at beginning of the game

Wow, yet another holiday related quest that I cannot complete because two goals in Im asked to provide 5 golden nuggets. First of all, these quests are not meant for people new to the game because none of them would have five golden nuggets so that seems unfair to exclude them. Im only at level 20 having had to restart kingdoms over and over on new devices (also a major bummer) and I keep feeling like these quests are no longer able to be completed EVER. I would just chalk it up to yet another crumby phone game but it wasnt always like this! Castle story used to be my favorite game I was up to level 50 on my first iPad and was so engaged each time I played but now Im let down so often that I wonder why I even open up the game anymore. Why all of the changes? You used to be able to get some energy back when you plowed your fields but not any longer...so many gems required for so many things...I cant bring myself to spend money on a game that will just be a waste when I get a new phone it isnt fair...

This game is easygoing sometimes slowly I really like easygoing than rush

I like it but new names need to come out fast lol
